Just a quick note to let you all know how much money we raised at our recent Xmas party with Alan Gregory. From the raffle, we raised £205 which we will be donating to Macmillan Cancer Support. Also, through the sale of the hand held fans, we raised £48 for the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. Lesley and I would like to thank you all for your generousity for these two worthwhile charities.
Monthly CD Social
As previously announced, due to falling attendances for our monthly live act socials, we have changed our format for 2012. We will be running alternate live acts and cd socials on the 3rd Thursday of every month. We are kickin' off in January with our first ever line dance cd social here at Walthamstow. Starting at 7.30pm till 11pm, we'll be playing your dance requests, be they pop, country, old or new, easy or hard! They'll be NO teaching or recapping, just 3+ solid hours of non-stop dancing! Entry is just £5.

This superb CIU affiliated venue is situated in the heart of Walthamstow E17. Set a little back from Hoe Street, it is next door to a disused petrol station. That ain't a selling point by the way, more of a landmark type statement! It has a large purpose built sprung dance floor surrounded on three sides by tables and seating. It has a large and fully stocked bar which serves both alcoholic and soft drinks. Please do not bring your own drinks.
